A 304-kg boat is sailing 15.2° north of east at a speed of 2.06 m/s. Thirty seconds later, it is sailing 32.1° north of east at a speed of 4.24 m/s. During this time, three forces act on the boat: a 28.8-N force directed 15.2° north of east (due to an auxiliary engine), a 22.9-N force directed 15.2° south of west (resistance due to the water), and vector F W (due to the wind). Find the magnitude and direction of the force vector F W. Express the direction as an angle with respect to due east. Thanks for the help everyone. I appreciate it but I have a horrible teacher that does not know how to explain anything... Read More »
